What is 'be different'?

be different was born when I realized the car community was in danger. Everywhere you look it’s G80 this, GT3RS that. They’re amazing cars, but the problem is deeper: people don’t love them for what they are anymore… they love them because everyone else does.

Somewhere along the way, originality became weird. Liking niche builds became “trying too hard to be different.” And the people who didn’t fit the hype mold started feeling like outcasts. A lot of us have felt that way. We'll show up to a meet with a car we love, only to feel judged because it wasn’t the “right” one.

be different is our answer to that. A movement for the people who love cars for their own reasons. The ones who aren’t afraid to buy, build, or talk about the cars that THEY like.

We’re here to bring originality back to the center of car culture. To build a community where being different isn’t just accepted… it’s the standard.
